- I should have entered information in the participation spreadsheet at the end of each week, but prior to sending the district report. That way I could have included the group participation percentage, as well as the individual participation percentages, in the Weekly District Report. Perhaps this would have encouraged the teachers to participate more.
- I should have created a jing video showing how to post do a discussion. I didn't realize until today (11/30) that a participant didn't understand what I meant when I said, "Do not create a new discussion. . . ."
- Pay closer attention to participants. I didn't realize that certain participants had turned in work for six straight weeks until I was doing the participation spreadsheet. I know part of this is because some turned it in late. However, this is a missed opportunity for encouragement. A simple email to a participant during a missed week might have been just what they needed to get the work done.
